- Combine the following and set
2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 C. sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
Combine in a large bowl:
1/2 C. raisins
2 C. apples, coarsely chopped
1/2 C. chopped Walnuts
3 Eggs
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 C. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
1/2 C. chopped Walnuts
1/4 C flour
1 tsp. lemon peel
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 oz butter, melted- Zubereitung:
- Add dry ingredients to apple mixture, a little at a time. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix!
Portion into muffin papers, sprinkle with topping. Bake 20-30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 F.
Serve with milk, the official beverage of New York State.
